Vieille Case on to Marigot for Community Outreach Programme
The Independent Regulatory Commission (IRC) Dominica’s electricity regulator spent a stormy Friday evening in the warm and welcoming company of the people of Vieille Case last week. The July 17, 2009 meeting was the third stop in the regulator’s recently launched Community Outreach Programme following visits to Dublanc in June and St. Joseph earlier in July. The Outreach programme, a series of nationwide community meetings, aims to clarify the scope and responsibilities of the IRC as a regulator as well as seeking valuable feedback from consumers around the country.
